ADI's 16-bit pseudo differential successive approximation register ADC provides high precision, high speed and low power consumption. The ADC operates with a single 1.8V power supply from 1.71V to 5.5V logic interface. These high-throughput SAR ADCs can accurately capture and extract high-frequency signals to achieve high SNR. The ADC has the capability of a daisy-chain ADC and can operate in the temperature range of -40C to 125C. These SAR ADCs include an SPI-compatible universal serial interface, with seven programmable modes and an optional busy indicator.

The AD4000 / AD4004 / AD4008 SAR ADC is compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, 3V and 5V logic using independent power supply VIO.

Typical applications include automatic test equipment, precision data acquisition systems, machine automation, medical equipment, and battery-powered equipment.
